For our client "Sony Mobile", who needed to launch M4 Aqua, its new water-proof smartphone, in a different way, we wanted to create a new and original content that would inform, train the audience and, simultaneously,would promote the special features of the new smartphone proving its usage in real life.

Challenge

For that reason,we created the original documentary "Lighthouses of Greece", where we visited the lighthouse-keepers of seven lighthouses all-over Greece. We listen their story-telling of their personal and everyday life. At the same time, we ascertain how the new M4 Aqua smartphone serves the multi-demanding life and the difficult living conditions of the lighthouse-keepers.

Results

The creation, projection and publicity of the documentary was impressive with a sum-up of €160,800 Media Value.


It was firstly shown on SKAI TV, on the 17th of October 2015 with a total viewership of 10,5%. Two additional projections of the documentary followed during the year. In addition, a DVD was created, that was inserted in Sunday's edition of "Kathimerini" newspaper (1st of November 2015, 40.000 copies).
The majority of tech reviews and presentations in tech magazines, portals & blogs, considered M4 Aqua as "the ultimate mid-range smartphone".


The success of our venture was confirmed with the ERMIS Bronze Award 2015 in the category "Branded Entertainment & Content".   

We visited the lighthouse-keepers of seven lighthouses all-over Greece.
